Have you been watching the news? We have been watching with interest as experts, commentators and others have made their “predictions” for this new year – 2009. They have declared that 2009 will be “bleak”, “dire”, “devastating”, and “tough”.

Have you considered what 2009 will be as a year in your life? Allen and I have, and we have chosen to believe that this year will be the greatest of our lives! It will be blessed of the Lord, directed of Him, prosperous, and favoured. We have chosen to believe we will have the greatest opportunities ever to preach the Gospel and advance the Kingdom. We have declared that personally we will be healthy, wealthy and wise. We have proclaimed 2009 IS OUR YEAR OF MIRACLES!

Both Allen and I want to challenge you to declare in faith what 2009 will be in your life. …..Maybe it will be a year of salvation for family members; or a year of breakthrough; or a year of establishing. Hear from heaven and begin to boldly proclaim His word in power and strength.

Seek Him as an individual, couple or family for Scriptures which will be YOUR Scriptures for this year. Stand in faith. DARE TO DECLARE. This will position you for all that you need in God this year to walk in victory and power. YOU WILL BE PERFECTLY POSITIONED to advance mightily in Him.

In the natural, we WILL hear much bad news. But, as believers we KNOW that a natural report is NOT the end of the story. And, as believers we know that God has a plan for us, to give us hope and a future. So, we won’t be moved from our confession of the goodness of our heavenly Father.

Remember, GOD IS ABLE to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think (see Eph. 3:20,21). May each one of us look to Him in faith. May each one of us have as our declaration at the end of 2009, “To God be the glory”.
